The proceedings commenced with excellent performances from both the recorder ensemble and the orchestra followed by the speeches and presentation of certificates and trophies where there were some very proud moments.  It was then time to sit back, relax and enjoy the entertainment starting with the infants who gave us some delightful songs about colours.
The juniors were next to take to the stage with a very funny poem written by Pam Ayres entitled "I wish I'd looked after me teeth" followed by a lively Bollywood dance. And to finish our school leavers  gave a brilliant performance with excerpts from the musical "Oliver".  Yet again,  another most enjoyable and successful Speech Day!
